Hej! I’m Niclas Borgström — born and raised in Stockholm, Sweden, and the one behind SwedishCandy.io. I’ve been eating Swedish Candy my entire life. In Sweden, we call it “godis,” and we take it very seriously. We eat about 35 pounds of candy per person per year. Not a typo.
When #swedishcandy blew up on TikTok — 120 million views and counting — I watched Americans fall in love with the same foamy sour skulls, chewy sweet-and-sour gummies, and fizzy fruit candy I grew up with. But I also watched them struggle to figure out where to actually buy it, and who had the best price. The same question kept coming up everywhere: “where do I get this and how much should I pay?”
So I built SwedishCandy.io — America’s first Swedish Candy comparison site. We’re not a store. We don’t sell candy. What we do is track prices, deals, and promo codes across all the top online Swedish Candy shops in the US and put everything in one place. No more fifteen browser tabs. No more “wait, was that cheaper on the other site?” Just find what you want, compare prices, and start snacking.

This site is built and operated by my company Leadonist, a digital company based in Miami. But the love for Swedish Candy? That’s 100% personal. I grew up on “lördagsgodis” — Saturday candy — a real Swedish tradition where you grab a paper bag every week and fill it up from the pick-and-mix bins. My own kids do the same thing now. It’s the best.
